Decades of Innovation Experience

A brief Synchron History

Established in 1985 as the automation department of the Wilten Group, Synchron has been at the forefront of laboratory automation solutions for over three decades. From its pioneering work in linking a robotic pipetting station to an automated MTP reader in 1987 to the introduction of fully automated laboratory systems for Elisa techniques and blood typing in 1994, Synchron has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation.

Over the years, Synchron's achievements have included collaborations with industry giants like Abbott and the development of cutting-edge technologies such as the Sias Xantus pipetting platform. Under the leadership of Derk Wilten since 2006, the company expanded its reach globally, with installations in Germany, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Synchron's commitment to innovation continued with the introduction of the HT Powder Dosing Unit, Vision Technology integration, and partnerships with Denso Robotics. Our dedication to advancing laboratory automation remains evident in groundbreaking solutions like the Floyd Tubepicker and the establishment of the Synchron Innovation Center Groningen in 2017.
